What our Android app submission service covers

Everything between your repository and a live Google Play listing – set up properly once, so every future release is a push away instead of an afternoon in Play Console.

    Android CI/CD

CI/CD to testing tracks & production

Automated build, signing and upload with Gradle and fastlane on the CI you already use. Push a tag and the signed App Bundle lands on your internal or closed testing track – promote it to production when you're ready. Secrets live in your CI, and the whole setup is documented at handover.

Upload key & Play App Signing

We enroll your app in Play App Signing and set up a dedicated upload key – or migrate your existing keystore. If an upload key is ever lost, it can be reset instead of locking you out of your app.

    Google Play Console setup help

App creation, store settings and contact details, plus the complete App content section: app access for reviewers, ads declaration, content rating, target audience and privacy policy.

    Signed release builds (AAB)

Consistent Android App Bundles from a clean release build: build variants, a versionCode strategy and R8 mapping files uploaded, so crash reports in Play Console stay readable.

    Target API level readiness

We check your targetSdkVersion against Google Play's current requirement and show what an upgrade affects – before Play Console blocks your upload.

    Target API level guide

Store listing & Data safety form

Title, short and full description, icon, feature graphic and screenshot guidance – plus Data safety answers that match what your app and its SDKs actually collect.

    Data safety guide

    Submission & review handling

We send your release for review, watch the publishing overview and policy status, and handle review feedback, policy emails and appeals in Play Console.

    Policy rejection guidance

Rejected update or policy warning? AI-assisted analysis maps Google's message to the policy involved, and your App Specialist walks you through the fix and the resubmission.

    AI-powered + human-powered

AI catches the policy traps. Humans ship the release.

Google Play combines automated checks with human reviewers – and so do we. AI-assisted checks handle the repetitive analysis; your App Specialist makes every decision and signs off before anything reaches Google.

    AI-assisted

    What AI checks on Android

    • Manifest & permission reviewFlags sensitive permissions and declarations Google asks about – and mismatches with your Data safety answers.
    • Policy pre-submission checkHighlights common Google Play policy red flags in your app and listing before a reviewer sees them.
    • Listing sanity checksTitle (30), short description (80) and full description (4,000 characters), missing URLs and graphics.
    • Build log & rejection analysisPinpoints failing Gradle or upload steps and maps policy emails to the likely fix.

    Human-powered

    What your App Specialist does

    • Pipeline & signing setupGradle signing, Play App Signing, fastlane and your CI – configured in your own accounts and documented.
    • Play Console & listingApp content declarations, Data safety form and a store listing that is ready for review.
    • Submission & reviewSends your release for review and handles feedback, policy emails and appeals.
    • Consultation callsUp to 5 × 30-min calls with your App Specialist – for strategy, policies, MDM and security.

    Also included in every package

    Basic security audit

Hardcoded API keys and secrets, cleartext traffic and network security config, exported components, permissions and outdated dependencies – with a prioritized list of findings and recommended fixes. A basic audit, not a penetration test.

    MDM consulting

Shipping to company devices? We advise on Android Enterprise, Managed Google Play private apps and choosing the right MDM solution. We consult – we don't operate your MDM.

    Up to 5 × 30-min calls

Up to 5 consultation calls of 30 minutes each, or up to 8 calls of 45 minutes with the iOS + Android bundle. Use them for kickoff, rejections, MDM, security or your next release.

    New personal accounts

New developer account? Closed testing comes first.

Google Play requires new personal developer accounts to run a closed test with at least 12 opted-in testers for 14 continuous days before they can apply for production access. Plan for it early – it adds at least two weeks to your first Android launch.

    Read the closed testing guide

    What we do

    • Set up the closed testing track, tester list and opt-in link
    • Connect your pipeline so testers always get the latest build
    • Explain what makes testing meaningful for Google
    • Help you prepare the production access application

    What you bring

    • Your testers. We can't provide testers ourselves – they must be real people you recruit: colleagues, friends, customers or your community.
    • Their Google account emails, or a Google Group they can join
    • Feedback from testing, so you can show Google real usage
    Before you start

What you need to get started

Three things – and none of them requires a finished app.

    Your Google Play developer account

A personal or organization account in your name, so the app is always yours. Google's registration fee is not included – no account yet? We help you register and get verified.

Your source code – even if it isn't 100% ready

Access to your repository. Your app does not have to be 100% ready: we set up the pipeline, signing, Play Console and listing while you finish your features.

    Your app details

A privacy policy URL, your app icon, a short brief on features and audience – and demo credentials if your app has a login. We guide you on screenshots and the feature graphic.

    Customizations are quoted upfront

Code changes to your app – for example a target API level upgrade, an account deletion flow or a new feature – are not included. We discuss them with you beforehand and quote them separately.

    Google's fees are separate

The Google Play Console registration fee and other third-party costs are paid by you directly to the provider. Our price covers our service only.

    FAQ

    Google Play submission FAQ

Everything about publishing your Android app with us. Still unsure? Ask us directly.

    Free consultation call
Do I need my own Google Play developer account?

Yes. We publish your app in your own Google Play Console account, so the app, its listing, your upload key and the pipeline always belong to you. You invite our team with the permissions we need and can remove access after the handover.

Google's one-time registration fee is not included in our price. No account yet? We help you choose between a personal and an organization account and guide you through registration and identity verification.

How much does the Android app submission service cost?

The Android package is a one-time $619 per platform. The iOS + Android bundle is $1,199 for both platforms. Prices are in USD, excl. VAT – no subscription.

Every package includes the CI/CD setup, store submission, guidance on rejections, MDM consulting, a basic security audit and up to 5 × 30-min (8 × 45-min with the iOS + Android bundle) consultation calls per order. Not included: customizations or code changes to your app (we discuss and quote them upfront) and Google's developer account fee.

Can I book if my Android app isn't 100% ready?

Yes. While you finish your features, we already set up Play App Signing, the CI/CD pipeline, Play Console and your store listing, and run the basic security audit.

Customizations and code changes to your app are not included. If your app needs any – for example a target API level upgrade or an in-app account deletion flow – we discuss them with you beforehand and quote them separately. Nothing extra happens without your approval.

What about the closed testing requirement with 12 testers for 14 days?

New personal developer accounts must run a closed test with at least 12 opted-in testers for 14 continuous days before they can apply for production access. We set up the closed testing track, the tester list and opt-in link, connect your pipeline to the track and help you prepare the production access application.

We can't provide testers ourselves – they have to be real people you recruit, such as colleagues, friends or customers. Read our closed testing guide for details.

What if my app gets rejected by Google Play?

Policy rejections are common and usually fixable. We analyse Google's message, explain which policy is affected and guide you through the fixes, the appeal or reply and the resubmission – using your included consultation calls. If code changes are needed, we quote them separately.

There is no money-back guarantee, because the approval decision is made by Google, not by us. Our free rejection guides cover the most common cases, such as broken functionality and the WebView spam policy.

Which Android CI/CD tools do you set up?

We usually automate the build, signing and upload with Gradle and fastlane on your preferred CI: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise or Codemagic. The pipeline uploads signed App Bundles to the internal or closed testing track, and you promote releases to production when you are ready.

Native Kotlin or Java apps and cross-platform apps that build with Gradle are both fine. Using a different CI service? Ask us in a free consultation call.

Who owns the signing keys and the pipeline?

You do. With Play App Signing, Google securely stores your app signing key, and your upload key lives in your own CI secrets – never in your repository. The pipeline runs in your own CI account and repository and is documented at handover, so your team can keep shipping without us.

Can you help us distribute the app to managed devices (MDM)?

Yes, as consulting. We advise on Android Enterprise, publishing your app as a private app via Managed Google Play and choosing an MDM solution that fits your organization. We don't operate an MDM for you.
